Ammonium biurate crystals with “finger-like” spicules, intermingled with many squamous epithelial cells and bacteria. These crystals are found in urine rich of ammonia produced upon standing by urease-producing bacteria. Ammonium biurate crystals usually have no clinical significance (urinary pH alkaline).
